The first Rally of the year tried hard to live up to it’s name, providing a chilly backdrop.
Early arrivals for the pontoon refreshments decided to use the hospitality of Malaika (and it’s warm saloon), but there were still many hardy souls who remained outside. Their stoic performance was aided by a plentiful supply of the customary mulled wine.
Some Club members joined by campervans, which were ‘moored’ off-site to ensure they had access to power for their heating, as the adjoining campsite was closed for the winter.
Dinner was hosted at the Gaff Rigger, where a thoroughly convivial evening was enjoyed by all.
