Saturday  12th April 2025 10.00am-12.30pm
UK Coast Guard Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC)
Unit 12 Kites Croft Business Park Fareham PO14 4LW

Tom is the team Leader of Charlie Watch at the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC).

The centre is part of the UK national Emergency Service providing a single point of contact in the case of any emergency on the water.

The picture shows a critically damaged yacht, around 600 nautical miles out at sea, who was saved as part of a two-day rescue operation led by HM Coastguard.  Tom has his own yacht and is a passionate supporter of water sports, he fundraises and organises events to promote greater water safety.

Places are restricted to a maximum of 24 on a first come first served basis as that is the room capacity at the JRCC.

After the talk we can meet up for lunch at the Powder Monkey or Camber Lights Cafe by the Explosion Museum and then take an afternoon stroll around the Priddy’s Hard, Heritage area.

To reserve your place, please email speakers@newburyyachtclub.com together with your car number for the JRCC car park.

Meet up at 10.00am at Unit 12 Kites Croft Business Park Fareham PO14 4LW
