Laying Up Supper – Dec 2018

Once again we had the meal in the fantastic Barn at the Hare & Hounds, Speen.  The food was, as always, delicious. One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Uncle Albert Award, which is presented to the Skipper who has made the most impressive gaff (that has been found out about) during the year.

This year the prize was awarded to Mike Dickens and the crew of Polly for setting off on the Spring Cruise, having left most of the supplys (including their red ensign) in the trolly on the pontoon!
