The Club welcomed in the Near Year with a visit to Ocean Village in Southampton.
The time of year dictated that warm drinks were needed, so plenty of mulled wine was available to wash down the supply of cakes. With around 30 people unable to resist the chilly weather, it was a busy night at Banana Wharf.
A good breeze the following morning gave everybody the opportunity for an enjoable sail homeward.
