Some may recollect that Malcolm was the NYC webeditor for several years. He created the Jeanneau Owners Network over 20 years ago which has grown to be one of the largest Yacht Owner groups on the internet with more than 10,000 members worldwide.
Malcolm has recently published a book “The Jeanneau Story” in conjunction with Jeanneau and the Jeanneau family.
His talk though will not only be about the extraordinary history of Henry and Nelly Jeanneau who founded the company in the late 1950’s but will provide background on how fibreglass boatbuilding came to dominate both the French and British markets.
Henry Jeanneau was an exceptional guy, who was active in the French resistance and later became a famous powerboat champion and keen light aircraft pilot.
